Dear Friends & Co-Workers,
We hope that 2011 has been a good year for you and your loved ones and that 2012 will be even better. We would like to thank all of you who attended our 21st reunion in July at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta. Those of you who attended completed a short survey to determine the location of our 2012 reunion. For those regular reunion attendee’s who were unable to be with us in Atlanta, we sent out the same survey via e-mail. Well the results were tabulated and enabled us to select the sight of our 2012 reunion!
The Retired Law Enforcement Association & Friends is delighted to announce that our 22nd Annual Reunion be will held at the classic Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The hotel is located at 20 West Baltimore Street, in downtown Baltimore just 3 blocks from the world famous Inner Harbor. Our dates will be from Sunday, July 8, 2012 to Sunday, July 15, 2012. Our room rate is a very affordable $109 per day plus applicable taxes. For our group, self parking has been discounted to $12.00 per day and valet parking reduced to $20.00 per day. Our group rates have been extended to five days before and three days after our event for those who may want to arrive early and/or stay longer. In addition to our receptions, Ladies Luncheon, Cookout and Dinner Dance we are working on proposals for an African American heritage tour, a casino trip, an Orioles baseball game and a trip to Washington, DC to visit the new Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Those activities will be outlined in our next letter and all information will be available here shortly
The registration fee is $150 per adult and $75 for children 13 to 18 and $50 children 5 to 12. All fees need to be paid by June 1. Because registration fees are used to prepay events and vendors we will be unable to return those fees if you cancel. This policy was instituted to ensure that we provide exemplary service to all.
